It's actually June and I am just getting around to updating the kids blog. It's been a rough several months...but looking back at Easter and the special day it was spent with their grandfather and the days around Easter-it makes me happy. We had time at home Easter morning doing a all around the house Easter egg hunt. The kids had a good time. Zackary was into the coins and jellybeans this year, Emme liked the jellybeans! We also got invited to a Easter Egg hunt with some friends and their neighborhood. The kids loved it and even got to eat a piece of a donut.
We also went to my stepsisters house where my mom the Easter Bunny had hidden all the eggs and baskets. They both did really well...and Emme looked so picturesque! It was a wonderful day.
As the family gathering came to an end we all got around John, your grandpa, and took a family picture. Little did we know it would be the last time the
kids would see him. I will cherish that Easter in my heart forever, it was as perfect as a day as it could have been.
I am thankful my two kids bring a constant
sunshine to my life even when it seems to be constantly cloudy.
