Trick or Treating Time

 Here is your ghost pumpkin Emme.  Daddy did a good job huh.  Zackary yours was cool too...you and I both did a pumpkin with a lot of holes.  Your pumpkin had some green on it so you had Daddy do a face with the mouth right at the green part like he had green stuff coming out.  It was cool!

3 years now we have gone to Balboa Island to go trick or treating.  We have some friends that save a parking spot for us cause the Island is crazy with people.  It's nice most of the homes participate and are so close together it's not tons of walking.  You both brought home a lot of candy..backpack full but you left it on the front porch for the Switch Witch.  The next morning she left you both presents and and it was enough to make you happy and make me very happy!

Ghost Pumpkin

Toothless decided to join us for pumpkin carving...so the whole family was there!  

I am glad you both got your hands dirty and had fun carving your own pumpkins.  You will see the end production on the next Halloween post.

Dinner with Mom

I just love this picture so much.  Daddy had a late night at the golf course aerfying so we went out to dinner and had a fun time.  I love you two so much. 

Passing the Time Halloween Style

I like any excuse to take you guys to my work to see what animals are there and what treatments they are doing to help them.  So when I found out they were having this little Halloween event we went!

Praying Mantis

True to the boy you are, not at Dad's golf course for longer than 5 minutes and you spot a praying mantis.  How gorgeous is it.  You were so excited to tell me and you knew all about the species.  Love it.

Another Year at NCUMP's Fall Family Fun Day

Even though you were showing signs of not feeling well you begged me to still bring you to your Fall Family Fun Day.  So with some Advil on board (and me feeling cautious) you set off having a fun day making crafts, playing with match box cars, riding ponies and tricycles.  You saw your friends and teachers and even got to eat a gluten free cupcake. 

How cool is it to ride around with an orange mohawk!?

Annual Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Picking

This year, wow it was hot!  Their were flies everywhere and well it was hard to be in the fall, pumpkin picking mood.  But we did it!  You each picked a great pumpkin and met some sweet goats and lambs to feed and hug on!

These two pictures of your smiles as you have a moment connecting with another being...well it's priceless.  Fills my heart.

The maze this year was pretty neat.  You two couldn't figure out how to get out...so it did it's job and challenged your mind.

Chance's 3rd Birthday

We went to Chance's birthday at a local amusement park we had never been too.  Chance is the son of one of my best friends CM from highschool.  We had a fun day going on the rides including a fun roller coaster and carousel.  It was a small park so easy to go on your favorite rides over and over.  The birthday celebration after for dinner was fun too!  Thanks for inviting us.
