French Fries and a Cat

Carving pumpkins with Dad. Zackary didn't want anything to do with carving the pumpkins. But Emeline wanted to get dirty and feel all the squishy innards and seeds.

Priceless...

Zackary did so well Trick or Treating. Everyone loved his french fries outfit. The bag was ketchup and it was filled with candy and heavy. He didn't want either Mom or Dad to carry it and at one point when Ben and I were trying to find something good in it to eat he yelled at us, "No, Stop It!" Hehe... He didn't want to stop. At each house he said, "okay let's go to another house now." Nothing scared him, he loved it all! He wanted to go again the next night! Honey, you were the tastiest french fries ever!

All he cares about out of all his candy he got were the lollipops. He has been carrying them around everywhere with him all day. We let him have one in the beginning of his trick or treating adventure and it was like we had given him a whole cake.

Fall Sunset, Why This is My Favorite Time of Year

With Emeline upstairs asleep, the three of us took the opportunity to venture outside and enjoy the sunset. Zackary's two new things to do are smile like Chandlier on friends (remember that one episode where him and Monica go to take professional pictures but his smile is all crazy?) and he has this new weird laugh! Both I think he picked up in preschool. Ben and I love each new thing from the question's (what's that), the funny smiles, and all the crazy laughs!

We are so lucky to have this view every night.

Where's the Milk

Zackary cracked me up the other day. He put on my brestfriend (for breastfeeding) and started looking around to see where the milk came out from. Ben explained where the milk was...I think he was still confused! :)

Some Major Players

These three people I call "major players" because they have become such a big part of my children's lives and when they say it takes a village this is part of our village! They are all involved in helping us raise, love and support the kids. Each play such a huge part in nurturing them. Ben and I thank you "players" from the bottom of our heart for being here weekly to help, guide and love!
My mom spends 2 days of her week giving 100% attention to our children. They love her so much. Zackary is so tired when she leaves because she stimulates his mind on a different educational level being a teacher for all those years. It's so cool to see.

LS has been Zackary's speech therapist for over a year and a half. She has been the key instrument in developing and furthering his speech. He and us look at her as a friend and member of the family!

Since Emeline was about 4 months old, AP has been helping us take care our children. She came into our family when Zackary was having a rough time adjusting to Emeline (such a big change) and she really facilitated his growth, peace and ours too! Emeline and Zackary love playing with her. Watching Emeline light up when AP comes in the room makes us light up as well.

Almost Crawling

I love being able to get to all my toys and my brothers toys by scooting on the floor. Sitting in the same spot was getting boring! And now I can get up on my knees and I try to start crawling on all 4's, but I am still a little unsure of it. I'm close though!

Pumkin Patch

Sunday we went to our annual Pumpkin Patch and had so much fun! There was a wagon attached to a tractor pulling people that Zackary loved! He kept saying "Hi everybody" every time it passed us!

Here is a surreal moment. My son is overlooking the golf course where Ben and I got married. One big circle of memories for me. I love minutes like this that take your breath away for a moment! Zackary and I sat on the grass here for awhile eating our chocolate covered strawberries!

There were sunflowers everywhere. It reminded me of when I went to Tuscany and passed fields and fields of sunflower patches.

The pumpkin patch was really cool. It's huge and Zackary and I walked all around looking at the different pumpkins. He said he was looking for a "golden pumpkin"-I think from Charlie Brown.

I told Zackary I wanted to see how strong he was so he picked up this big pumpkin like it was know big deal! Outsmart mommy!

Fall Family Fun Day

Zackary's preschool had their biggest fundraiser last Saturday. Zackary had the most fun with all the animals. We were there pretty much at the end but it was perfect because he got quality time hanging out with the barnyard animals! And of course it's my favorite part too. I tried getting him to ride the pony's, but he wasn't having it! After some tricycle races, brownie eating, and petting the animals we made our way home!
It was so funny, all the goats surrounded Zackary...he was loving it!

He would steal hay from the pigs and other animals and take it over to the goats and sheep and throw it at them to eat.

Beach Days

Our Beach days are almost over, for the summer! We still go in the fall and winter but it's different. Had to capture the last of summer.

There was the annual sandcastle contest going on so we checked them all out. Zackary was determined to go jump on them all. At each one I had to explain that they were not our sand castles so we couldn't touch them.

We all had a good time watching Ben build castles and Zackary destroying them! It was so nice to have our beach back and feel the summer leaving and fall coming to visit for awhile!
