First day of Pre-Kindergarten

Emeline you had the best teachers for your last day at United Methodist.  This is your second year here.  You are in classroom 1 with Mrs. Zigler and Ms. Johnson.  You were so ready for school...and you are a natural with your fine motor skills and with making friends.  You will get to bake, read a lot of books, play with so many different toys that work on skills, paint, sing with Ms. Hoppy and so much more.

 I had to work on your first day but Grandma took you and Daddy met you at school.  Got some cute pictures that caught your excitement. 

 Zackary was excited for you too.  He went to your school so he knows how much fun you are going to have.

Your own phone and computer...lucky!  It looks like you went to work not school!

Reptile Party

Your Reptile party was a huge success!  We had a reptile company bring us some reptiles and we invited your close friends and learned a lot about many different reptiles.  Above is a blue tongue skink and he's kissing you!

A Giant African Tortoise was the hit of the party and had has own agenda of checking out the yard. 

3 different pythons you are holding all at once.  No fear, so focused and becoming a little Wild Kratt!  You showed your friends there is nothing to be afraid of and helped them all experience each reptile! 

Above is Dani and you.  You met her at Tumblebugs and you both hit it off!  She fit right in at the party holding all the reptiles with you.

Emme invited her friend too N and they had fun holding the snakes together.

Pizza Party Night, Zackary's 7!!!!!

Baba and Jedo met us for a pizza dinner for your birthday.  You had school so when you got home we changed and went straight to dinner..and it was yummy!  You both were so excited Baba and Jedo and Grandma were there.

Then we came home and had dessert mommy made and opened up all your presents.  You got a lot of cool dragon stuff, and this nerf gun.   You were so excited...you had waited many months for this birthday.  I loved watching the excitement in your eyes and body...I need some of that for my birthdays!

We love you so much honey.  You have become this amazing young boy full of so much love, concern for others, strength, intelligence, curiosity, happiness and so much more.  You fill such a huge part of my heart.  It has been an honor watching you grow up into this young cute and fun little boy.  7 fits you well!  You mean the world to us and are the luckiest parents in the world cause we have you.  Happy Birthday!

First Grade

I can't believe the day is here.  You have entered the grades.  It is so bittersweet for me as I don't want you to grow so fast.  But we are so excited for this next adventure in your life and become stronger and stronger in your studies and friendships and self. 

Ahhh, your sister was so excited for you too.

The 3 amigos!  KS, you and DT.  They are in your class as well.  At your school there are 2 first grades and you are in Ms. Wilde's class.  

Above is Ms. Wilde.  She is so sweet, looks like a Disney Princess to me and just got back from hiking all over Switzerland and is ready to teach some tales!  You are learning some spanish, math, becoming friends with each letter of the alphabet so it's easier to learn to read, have games outside with Mr. Storm (this is your favorite part) and doing some nature studies.  You help in the classroom, hear amazing symbolic stories and tales, have a movable classroom and get an 8th grade buddy that every Wednesday you embark on a project with or read a story with. 

Here all the parents made a bridge from a special rose ceremony (where the 8th graders give a rose to the new 1st graders) right to your first grade class.  We are all here to support you!
