Halloween Day/Night

A pumpkin and a dragon/dinosaur set out to collect candy on this night.  While trick or treating along Balboa Islands streets Emme the pumpkin came across Anna from Frozen and was star struck.  You guys collected a lot of candy and chocolate and mommy and daddy even passed a house passing our adult drinks!  

Scary and Sweet! You both played your costumes perfectly.  Auntie Sara sent Zackary his costume.  I guess its really pj's but you would be to hot in this. 

Zackary you dressed up at your school as a wizard and Karis I believe was a pirate.  It was a good day and night. 

Bye Bye Bugaboo

This was mommy's favorite stroller.  You don't really fit in it here Emeline but I figured I would take you on more walk in it.  Saying goodbye to this stroller is like saying goodbye to the baby days...and wow it went fast.  Funny enough I posted this picture on facebook and a mom I know asked if I was selling it.  I hadn't even thought of selling yet just not using it anymore...but I took her up on her offer and we sold it.  Thanks for being good to us bugaboo!

Pumpkin Carving at Journey with Z

I was excited to spend the morning helping you and your classmates carve pumpkins.

Best Friend Nicholas

This was your first best friend Emme.  His name is Nicholas and you two got along really well.  It was fun having play dates.  His mommy was really nice too.  You two had a play date once a week for a long time.  We would go to the beach, go to their house, them come to our home or go to the park.  I'm grateful that your first close friend and his mom were so sweet. 

Where you grew up

I wanted you to have some pictures of the first house you lived in.  This is the upstairs back area of GG's house.  We had a view of the ocean and it was breath taking each day.  You were lucky to grow up at the beach.

Annual Tanka Farms Trip

Our annual Tanka Farms trip for Pumpkin picking was so much fun this year.  We fed the animals (which Zackary you got really into and didn't want to leave them.  You were asking the lady all about them).  We picked out our pumpkins and got a lot of great family shots together.  

Amanda joined us for the morning.  It was nice to have her be with us as a family again!  She was so much a part of your early years...and such a comfort when we all needed it.
