Happy Birthday Third Birthday To You

We had so much fun at your third birthday.  You really were into Toy Story, so you got all the characters.  You didn't let them go for weeks...they became your best friends and you had fun playing with them.  I was watching Toy Story come alive in your arms.

All your family was at your birthday party and celebrated with you on your actual birthday.  We took you out to dinner at True Food on your birthday and you were lucky to have Grammy and Papa there and Grandma. You blew your candles out at home as you can see below and had fun opening up all the presents! 

Your birthday party was very special filled with puppies (again, yes) and lots of people and good food!  The cake was beautiful! You had an adorable red dress on as we did a Valentine theme for your party!  I still can't believe we had a baby girl.  We are so lucky you are in our life.  You make us smile each day and are such a joy to watch grow.  I want you to stay young because your too cute!  We love you Emeline-more than is possible to explain!  Happy Birthday!

Best of Friends/and Hopeful Lifelong Friends

Mommy's best friend MG came to visit with her son J.  You guys had so much fun playing with him and being silly together.  Mommy and MG went out to dinner and Daddy babysat you all.  It was time for bed so Jackson slept on this round pillow cushion and it was your first mini sleepover but at our house!  I hope one day when your older and you read this you can say, "hey J look at this pic of us" because you are still friends!

Irvine Park Day

About twice a year we spend the day at this amazing park/zoo about 40 minutes from our home.  They have a train we ride first all around the grounds.  Next are the horses.  This year Zackary expressed a lot of interest in wanting to try horseback riding.  10 minutes later he was trotting away and we were amazed!  He loved it...it was so cute seeing him bouncing up and down with a big smile on his face.

The zoo is always fun and educational.  This day we fortunate to learn about mountain lions.  We saw how they train them, keep them healthy and feed them.  We were really close too so the kids were fascinated. 

The rest of the zoo animals seemed to be sleeping so we headed to the petting zoo.  While brushing the goats we noticed a couple of them fighting and having some issues.  The zoo attendants put them in a time out.  Emme also, as you can see, put herself in a time out-and to this day it is one of my favorite pouting pictures of her!

A huge pond is located in the middle of the park.  There were many ducks and some geese eating and sleeping the day away. 

We took a break to play in the huge trees and take in the beautiful scenery all around us.  Till next time...maybe Christmas for the lights covering the park!  

My Construction Worker

Emme loved working the construction truck at our local park.  She said forgot the slide, and swings and kids and other toys...She was very serious and figured out the mechanics of the truck pretty easily!  My little construction worker. 

Tia

Tia is our neighborhood dog.  She is so good with the kids-loves to give big wet kisses to them!  She makes the kids so happy with her unconditional love!  That is why dogs rock!

Bye Bye Christmas Tree

This is how we get rid of our Christmas trees!  Much easier then when it arrives!
