Kindergarten...I can remember kindergarten for me and now here is my son going. He looks so ready to begin his journey through school. Ben and I picked a school basically with that premise, that school is not a race but a journey. A charter school with a Waldorf philosophy. It is based on a profound understanding of human development that addresses
the needs of the growing child. Waldorf teachers strive to transform
education into an art that educates the whole child—the heart and the
hands, as well as the head.
He did really well. No crying, walked right into his classroom and did not look back. And still hasn't. (as it is now 3-14 and I am updating my blog.) Zackary has fit right in and is enjoying his first year here.
